Curriculum

National Secondary Curriculum (NCTB)

Our teaching follows the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) syllabus for Classes 6 to 10, preparing students for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination under the Dhaka Education Board, while adding remedial support and enrichment activities beyond the textbook.

Class 6 – 8
Junior Secondary

A common foundation curriculum following the national textbook board, with emphasis on Bangla, English, Mathematics and Science.

Assessment

Exam System & Grading

Students are assessed through periodic class tests, a half-yearly examination in August and an annual examination in November, following the national Grade Point Average (GPA) system out of 5.00.

  • Class tests: short, subject-wise tests held monthly to track ongoing progress.
  • Half-yearly examination: a comprehensive exam covering the first half of the syllabus, held in August.
  • Annual examination: covers the full year's syllabus and determines promotion to the next class, held in November.
  • Class 10 students additionally sit for a pre-test and test examination before appearing in the board SSC examination.
